Happy New Year's Kitchen Fire!

Jed and I decided one of our goals for 2020 would be to cook more to save money. So since most restaurants are closed on New Year's Day, what better day to start than that? Check out the time-lapse of my shenanigans below including the brain fart which resulted in me putting a pot holder on a hot burner... and not realizing at first why it was melting (really, self? lol). I might post the recipe for the chicken and asparagus later (the pasta is literally from a bag from Walmart... you can figure that out) buuut more likely I'll forget. Either way, enjoy!
